You'll learn how to respond to injuries and medical emergencies in a marine environment, with hands-on training in CPR, AED use, and first aid for common onboard incidents. Successful participants receive certification from both the Canadian Red Cross and Transport Canada—essential for those in the marine industry.

Marine Advanced First Aid
This intensive course is required for designated first aid providers on board vessels and covers a wide range of medical emergencies in marine settings. Over several days, you’ll gain the knowledge and hands-on skills to assess and manage serious injuries, medical conditions, and onboard emergencies—including oxygen administration, spinal immobilization, and multiple casualty management. Upon successful completion, participants receive certification from both the Canadian Red Cross and Transport Canada.
